Business Terms

Version 1.1 · Effective 1 September 2026

These terms apply in addition to the Terms of Service when you use Grabit to run a business profile, publish Drops and offers, or buy credits, boosts or a subscription.

1. Who these Business Terms are with

Grabit is operated by Jowski Labs Ltd, trading as Grabit. Your business agreement for Grabit is with:

Jowski Labs Ltd
Company number 17415221
Registered office: 9 Lanfranc Way, Liverpool, L16 1JU
Registered in England and Wales
hello@gograbit.co.uk

2. Authority and business account responsibility

You confirm you are authorised to act for the business you register or manage on Grabit, and that the information you provide about it is accurate. You are responsible for what your team members do with the access you give them, and for removing access when someone leaves.

3. Business profile requirements

Your business profile must be complete enough for customers to understand who they are dealing with before you publish publicly — this includes a business name, category, logo and a location or service area. Grabit checks profile completeness before a Drop can go live, and we may hide or unpublish a profile that is incomplete, misleading or inactive.

4. Accurate offers, availability and fulfilment

  • Drops and offers must be accurate, current and not misleading at the time you publish them, including any conditions, exclusions and expiry.
  • You must honour valid offers while they are live, subject to the stock, time and “one per person” limits you set and stated clearly in the listing.
  • You are responsible for keeping availability up to date and for marking a Drop sold out or ending it when appropriate.
  • You are responsible for complying with consumer protection, advertising, pricing, labelling, licensing and age-restriction rules that apply to what you sell.

Grabit is a discovery platform, not the seller. The contract for what a customer buys is between you and that customer.

5. Prohibited promotions

No false or inflated “was” prices, bait-and-switch offers, illegal or counterfeit goods, age-restricted goods without proper checks, offers you cannot fulfil, or content that breaches advertising or consumer-protection rules. We may remove any Drop, offer or post that breaches this.

6. Free posting and paid features

Grabit offers a free tier with limits on how much you can run at once, and paid features (credits, boosts, promotional tools and subscription plans) that increase those limits or add reach. The current limits, plan features and prices are the ones shown in the app at the time you use them, and they may change as the product develops.

7. Credits

Credits are the in-app unit used to pay for boosts and promotional features. Grabit tracks three separate credit types:

  • Purchased credits, bought as a top-up pack;
  • Subscription credits, granted as a monthly allowance with your plan, which may roll over only up to the rollover cap shown for that plan;
  • Promotional credits, granted by us, which may carry an expiry date shown against the grant.

Credits have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred between businesses. They are consumed when a feature is used and are not returned if a campaign performs below expectation. Where a promotional grant or subscription rollover cap applies, unused credits above that cap or past that expiry are lost.

8. Subscriptions, payment, cancellation and refunds

Direct and web purchases of credits, boosts and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Where you buy through an app distributed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, that purchase may instead be processed by Apple or Google under their in-app purchase rules. The payment provider or platform shown at checkout may impose additional payment, billing and refund rules, and those rules apply alongside these terms.

A plan becomes or stays active only after a successful payment; if a payment fails, the subscription can move to past due and plan features and allowances may be paused until it is resolved.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel from the app (or, for a store-billed subscription, through your Apple or Google account). Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and you keep plan access until then. There is no automatic pro-rata refund for an unused part of a period unless the law or the payment platform's rules require one.

Credits and promotional services are generally non-refundable once they have been consumed or a campaign has run. If a payment is refunded, reversed or charged back, we may remove the corresponding unused credits. Nothing here limits any refund or cancellation right you have under the law or under the rules of the store or payment provider you bought through. If you think something has gone wrong with a payment, contact us at hello@gograbit.co.uk.

Prices are those shown in the app at the time of purchase, and taxes are shown or charged where applicable.

9. Boosts, Spotlight and Push Alerts

Boosts, Spotlight campaigns and Push Alert boosts increase the chance your Drop is seen. They are best-effort: audience estimates shown before you buy are estimates based on current data, not guarantees. Actual reach depends on who is active, their location and alert settings, and their device. We do not guarantee impressions, opens, redemptions or sales, and credits spent on a campaign are consumed when the campaign runs.

10. Redemption and QR confirmation

When a customer redeems, you or your authorised staff confirm it in the app, usually by scanning a single-use QR token that expires shortly after it is generated. Confirming a redemption is a statement that it genuinely happened. Don't confirm redemptions that did not take place, don't use redemption or loyalty tools to inflate your own numbers, and make sure staff accounts are only given to people who need them.

11. Messaging and customer contact

You may reply within conversations a customer has started about your Drop or offer. Don't use Grabit messaging or contact permissions for unrelated marketing, and don't reuse customer details obtained through Grabit for purposes the customer did not agree to. You are responsible for your own compliance with data protection and marketing law for any customer data you take off the platform.

12. Verification and moderation

Verified status is granted at our discretion based on the information you provide, and can be revoked if that information turns out to be inaccurate or circumstances change. We may review, remove or unpublish businesses, Drops, offers, posts, reviews responses, boosts or messages that breach these terms or harm users, and we may suspend a business account. We will act proportionately and explain why where it is reasonable to do so, except in serious safety, security, fraud or legal cases.

13. Ownership, team access and deletion

A business profile has one owner account plus any admins and staff the owner adds. The owner cannot delete their personal Grabit account while they still own a business profile or while an active subscription is attached to it — transfer ownership or close the business first. This protects the team, customers with outstanding redemptions and any paid balance.

14. Responsibility between us

You are responsible for your offers, your content and your compliance with the law, and you will cover our reasonable losses if a third party brings a claim against us because of what you published or failed to honour on Grabit.

We do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or for fraud. Otherwise, because business accounts use Grabit for commercial purposes, we are not liable for lost profits, lost sales, lost goodwill or indirect loss, and our total liability in connection with paid features is limited to what you paid us for the feature concerned.

15. Changes and contact

We may update these Business Terms as the product changes; the version and effective date are shown at the top of this page and the version you accepted is recorded against your business. Where a change is material we will ask an owner to accept the new version in the app before continuing to use business features. Business questions: hello@gograbit.co.uk.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Business Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of them or your business use of Grabit, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
